An old railway line is now a cycle trail
Everything in Cleator has closed down but an enterprising woman with a tiny house and a large garden has opened for teas and was very welcoming and friendly.
Ennerdale Bridge is over the next hill
The Fox + Hounds has been bought by the community – very friendly and welcoming too. I do hope they succeed – mini economies are being created by these walking routes. I got a taxi back to St Bees.
