I was crossing to Westray at 4 so I had some time to do some more site seeing to do in Kirkwall. They value their trees so much, they prop them up:

the Bishop’s Palace.

This was the roof of a summer house. It was made of the ballast from a wrecked pirate ship and shells. It was taken on another day – hence the lovely blue sky.
