Kelp Goose with young (male is white)
I was walking around the Big Pond on Pebble Island and this pair of White tufted grebe followed me for quite a long way…

A Silvery teal feeding its chick which is on its back
This one was particularly friendly
I just loved the hint of bottle green at the back of the wing which was only obvious when the wing was in a particular position and the light was right
These have lovely dual coloured bills
