First post for 2013: family matters

First, apologies for not blogging so far in 2013.  This is my first and I will provide an update of the main events of the year.

In January my nephew, Andrew married Shelagh.  It was a lovely crisp January day in Wenslydale and Frank (Dog for the Disabled) participated.

 

I stayed up there for a few days and Sue came up to join me and we went for a walk up around Aysgarth Falls, being careful over the stiles on the way.

My sister had been a volunteer for the Yorkshire Dales National Park and later on in the year we heard that they were erecting a bench in memory of her and her husband at Aysgarth Falls which was very touching.
