For some time I had wanted to visit the Trincamalee, a restored Royal Navy sailing ship, built in Bombay.
It was a bit of a disappointment. An ersatz dockyard development surrounds the ship which was a bit ersatz too.
Readers of Forester, O’Brien, etc should note that the following 8 photos show what each of the team of 8 men had to do to fire a gun (it’s still not wholly clear to me).
